SINGAPORE – A man died after falling in front of an oncoming train on the Bukit Panjang LRT line on May 18, disrupting train services between the Senja and Bukit Panjang stations for about four hours.

The police said they received a call for assistance at about 10:35 a.m. and the man was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) confirmed they responded to the incident.

Train services on the Bukit Panjang LRT line were suspended between Senja and Bukit Panjang stations from around 10:40 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Shuttle bus services were provided during the disruption.
