A man died after falling from an upper level at Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks, on Wednesday night. The incident occurred during the eighth inning of a game against the New York Yankees. Phoenix police and fire personnel responded, and the man was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. The investigation is ongoing, and foul play is not suspected.

In an unrelated case, Phoenix police have arrested a suspect in connection with a 2023 cold case homicide.
