Bouaddi, who came through Lille's academy, has made over 50 senior appearances for the French club. His performances in midfield have attracted attention from several top European clubs, with City now among the suitors.
Sky Sports News reported earlier this month that City are monitoring the player, though no formal bid has been made. Lille are expected to demand a significant fee for the teenager, who is under contract until 2027.
