A man has been charged with murder in connection with the fatal stabbing of Finbar Sullivan in Primrose Hill, London. The Metropolitan Police confirmed that Finbar Sullivan, 24, died at the scene on Tuesday, 8 April 2026.
Police were called to the area near Primrose Hill shortly after 11:30 PM on Tuesday night following reports of a stabbing. Despite the efforts of emergency services, Mr. Sullivan was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Thursday, 10 April, the Metropolitan Police announced that a 22-year-old man had been charged with murder. The accused, whose name has not been released by all outlets, appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court on Friday, 11 April.
The investigation is ongoing, and a post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as stab wounds. Detectives from the Specialist Crime Command are leading the inquiry and have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
