KLANG: A 28-year-old man has been charged with murder in connection with a fatal drunk driving crash that occurred on March 29. Saktygaanapathy Ravichandran was charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code at the Klang Magistrate's Court on Tuesday, March 31.
The charge relates to the death of a motorcyclist following a collision in Klang. The case has been transferred to the Shah Alam High Court for further proceedings.
If convicted of murder, the accused faces the mandatory death penalty. The court did not grant bail.
