The State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra has extended the registration deadline for the first round of centralized admission process (CAP 1) for NEET UG 2026 counselling for MBBS and BDS courses. The extension provides additional time for candidates to complete their applications.
According to the official schedule, the seat matrix for CAP 1 will be released on August 21, 2026. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website of the State CET Cell for updates and to complete their registration before the new deadline.
The counselling process is being conducted for admission to government and private medical and dental colleges across Maharashtra. Eligible candidates who have qualified in NEET UG 2026 and have registered for state quota counselling can participate in the seat allocation process.
