Channel 4 has removed all episodes of Married at First Sight (MAFS) UK from its streaming service following a BBC investigation that included allegations of rape by a contestant. The move came after the BBC program aired on May 18, 2026, featuring Shona Manderson, who appeared on the 2023 series of the show.
Manderson alleged that her on-screen partner, Bradley Skelly, committed a non-consensual sexual act during their time on the show. The BBC investigation also included accounts from other former participants who described a toxic environment behind the scenes.
Channel 4 confirmed the removal in a statement, saying it was reviewing the allegations and would cooperate with any police inquiries. The network added that it takes the safety of its participants seriously and is conducting an internal investigation.
Bradley Skelly has not publicly responded to the allegations as of May 19, 2026. The BBC has not named any other individuals involved in the investigation.
