The match was played at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Tuesday, April 1, 2026.
"Tough start. We will come back stronger," Goenka posted on X, acknowledging the loss. LSG, batting first, were bowled out for 141 runs in 19.2 overs. In reply, Delhi Capitals chased down the target with six wickets in hand and 11 balls to spare, finishing at 144/4 in 18.1 overs.
