Real estate developer Linstow has acquired the historic 'Kvadrats' building at Krišjāņa Barona iela 19 in central Rīga. The company announced the purchase on March 17, 2026, confirming its plans for a significant redevelopment of the property.

The building, constructed in 1911, is a protected cultural monument. Linstow stated that the total investment for the acquisition and subsequent redevelopment is estimated at 2 million euros. The project aims to transform the site into a modern office and commercial space while preserving its historical architectural elements.

The company highlighted that this acquisition aligns with its long-term strategy of investing in prime locations within the Baltic capitals. The redevelopment of 'Kvadrats' is expected to contribute to the ongoing revitalization of this central Rīga district.
