LEONI, a global provider of energy and data management solutions for the automotive industry, officially launched the construction of a new industrial unit in Bouskoura, Morocco, on Thursday, June 11, 2026. The investment for the project is 640 million Moroccan dirhams.
The new facility aims to strengthen LEONI's industrial presence in Morocco, supporting the company's operations in the automotive sector. The plant will focus on manufacturing wiring systems and other components for vehicles.
According to the company, the project is expected to create approximately 2,500 jobs in the region. The construction timeline and completion date have not been disclosed.
This expansion aligns with Morocco's growing role as a hub for automotive manufacturing, attracting international suppliers like LEONI to invest in local production capacity.
