On Tuesday, May 12, 2026, a low-pressure area will remain over Latvia, bringing cloudy weather and occasional rain in some places, according to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre. The sunniest weather is expected in the eastern part of the country, where the highest air temperatures are forecast.
In Latgale and Selia, temperatures could reach up to +21°C, while along the coast, especially in Kurzeme, temperatures will be significantly cooler, around +11°C to +13°C, due to the influence of the sea. This represents a contrast of nearly twice the temperature difference between the east and the coastal areas.
Winds will be moderate, coming from the west and northwest, with gusts up to 10-12 m/s in some regions. No severe weather warnings are in effect for Tuesday.
