The updated design, released on July 22, 2026, alters Gosling's hand placement to a more natural pose. The change was confirmed by Lionsgate representatives, who stated the revision was made in response to fan and actor feedback.
'La La Land,' directed by Damien Chazelle, premiered in 2016 and won six Academy Awards, including Best Director. The film starred Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone as a jazz pianist and an aspiring actress navigating love and careers in Los Angeles.
The 10th anniversary celebration includes a limited theatrical re-release and special screenings. The new poster will be used for promotional materials during the anniversary events.
