Kameya Yoshinobu, a 161-year-old confectionary based in Kyoto, Japan, has released a new lineup of edible Pokémon creations. The company, known for its traditional Japanese sweets (wagashi), collaborated with The Pokémon Company to transform iconic characters into edible art.
The collection includes Pokémon like Pikachu, Eevee, and Mew, crafted from sweet bean paste and other traditional ingredients. Each piece is handcrafted to resemble the characters, with details like Pikachu's cheeks and Eevee's fur.
The sweets are available at Kameya Yoshinobu's stores in Kyoto and online, priced at around ¥1,000 each. The company, founded in 1865, has a history of creating seasonal wagashi and has previously collaborated with other franchises.
