PESHAWAR, Aug 6 (APP) - Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Thursday reaffirmed the government's commitment to protecting the rights of minorities and assured physiotherapists that their professional issues would be taken up with the relevant authorities.
During a meeting with a delegation of physiotherapists and minority community representatives at Governor House, Kundi said the government is taking concrete steps to ensure equal rights for all citizens, including minorities, as enshrined in the Constitution.
The governor specifically addressed the concerns of physiotherapists, promising to raise their issues with the provincial government and relevant departments. He acknowledged the vital role physiotherapists play in the healthcare system and assured them of his support.
Kundi also listened to the grievances of minority community members and assured them that their rights would be protected. He emphasized that the government is committed to creating an inclusive society where all citizens can live with dignity and respect.
The delegation thanked the governor for his assurances and expressed hope that their issues would be resolved soon.
