ALOR SETAR: Police have recovered a weapon believed to have been used in the stabbing of a single mother in Kepala Batas on Sunday night, May 17, 2026. The victim, a 30-year-old woman, was stabbed in the neck while sitting in a car in front of a restaurant on Jalan Titi Gajah.
According to a police statement, the weapon is a 6-inch knife, described as a 'Rambo' knife. It was found in a rice field near the scene of the attack. The victim is currently receiving treatment at a hospital, and her condition is reported to be stable.
Police are continuing their investigation and are searching for the suspect. No arrests have been made as of May 20, 2026. The motive for the attack is still under investigation.
