Mitchell finished the game with 24 points, shooting 9-of-17 from the field and 4-of-8 from three-point range. She also added 5 assists and 3 rebounds. The previous franchise record of nine straight 20-point games was held by Tamika Catchings, set during the 2006 season.
"It's a blessing to be mentioned in the same breath as Tamika Catchings," Mitchell said after the game. "She's a legend, and I'm just trying to do my part to help this team win."
