Kawhi Leonard has agreed to a two-year, $115 million contract extension with the Toronto Raptors, his agent Harrison Gaines told ESPN's Shams Charania. The deal includes a player option for the 2028-29 season, keeping Leonard under contract for three seasons.
Leonard, a two-time NBA champion and Finals MVP, originally joined the Raptors in a 2018 trade and led the franchise to its first NBA title in 2019. After one season, he signed with the LA Clippers in free agency, where he played from 2019 to 2025 before returning to Toronto.
The extension secures Leonard's future with the Raptors through at least the 2027-28 season, with the player option giving him flexibility for 2028-29. Financial terms were confirmed by his agent to ESPN.
