Jubilee Party has unveiled Wilson Kigwa as its candidate for the upcoming Ol Kalou parliamentary by-election, following the conclusion of the party's internal nomination process.
In a statement on Tuesday, the party said it had received applications from several aspirants but settled on Kigwa after a transparent and competitive process. The by-election was necessitated by the resignation of former MP David Kiaraho.
Kigwa, a former county assembly member, is expected to face off with candidates from other political parties in the race to represent Ol Kalou constituency in Nyandarua County. The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is yet to announce the official date for the by-election.
