Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has announced its first-ever participation in the Marrakech Air Show, scheduled to take place from October 28 to 31, 2026, in Marrakech, Morocco. The event, organized by the Royal Moroccan Air Force, is one of Africa's premier aerospace exhibitions.
IAI, a leading Israeli aerospace and defense company, will showcase its advanced technologies, including unmanned aerial systems, satellite capabilities, and air defense solutions. This participation reflects the growing cooperation between Israel and Morocco following the normalization of relations under the Abraham Accords in 2020.
The Marrakech Air Show 2026 is expected to attract over 200 exhibitors from more than 30 countries, with a focus on innovation in aviation, defense, and space. IAI's presence underscores the company's strategy to expand its footprint in the African market.
According to IAI officials, the company aims to strengthen partnerships with Moroccan and regional stakeholders, leveraging the air show as a platform for business development and technological exchange. The event will also feature aerial displays, static exhibits, and B2B meetings.
