Moroccan telecommunications operator Inwi has launched the country's first industrial 5G private network. The deployment was announced in partnership with China Mobile International (CMI), a global telecom leader.
The network utilizes a 5G Standalone (SA) architecture and is designed to support advanced industrial applications. It aims to enhance digital transformation in sectors like manufacturing, logistics, and ports by providing ultra-low latency and high reliability.
This initiative is part of Inwi's strategy to develop cutting-edge technological infrastructure in Morocco. The company stated the network will serve as a platform for innovation and improved operational efficiency for local businesses.
