143 Entertainment, the agency representing iKON, announced on July 28, 2026, that member Junhoe will begin his mandatory military service on August 11, 2026. The announcement was made via a statement on the group's official fan community.
According to the agency, Junhoe will enter a recruit training center on that date to fulfill his duties as a South Korean citizen. The statement expressed gratitude to fans, known as iKONICs, for their continued support.
Junhoe is the latest iKON member to enlist, following other members who have completed or are currently serving their military service. The group has been active since their debut in 2015 under YG Entertainment before moving to 143 Entertainment.
