Several members of a private security outfit linked to Yoruba Nation campaigner Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, were reportedly injured after suspected cross-border bandits ambushed them during an operation in a forest in Oyo State, Nigeria. The security team was conducting a routine patrol in the forest area when they were attacked by armed men believed to be bandits operating across the border. The ambush left several members of the team with varying degrees of injury, and they were subsequently taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
