Honor has officially launched the Honor Play 80 Pro smartphone in the Chinese market. The device is positioned as a budget-friendly option, with its key selling points being long battery life and 5G connectivity.
The phone is equipped with a large 6,000mAh battery, which the company states supports 35W fast charging. For display, it features a 6.8-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the Honor Play 80 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 processor. It runs on the MagicOS 8.0 system, based on Android 14. The rear camera setup includes a 108-megapixel main sensor.
The Honor Play 80 Pro is available in several color options and memory configurations. The starting price for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model in China is 1,599 yuan (approximately $220 USD).
