Global interactive entertainment brand HoYoverse announced today that the new Version 4.5 of its title Honkai: Star Rail, titled "To Roll the Stars in Astropolis," will officially launch on August 26, 2026. The announcement was made via a press release on August 14, 2026.
According to the official announcement, the update introduces a new area called Astropolis, along with new characters and gameplay features. The story revolves around a crisis triggered by a mysterious event in the Astropolis region, which players will need to resolve.
HoYoverse has not yet released full details on all new characters or events, but players can expect the usual array of limited-time banners, events, and quality-of-life improvements that accompany major version updates. The version 4.5 update will be available on all platforms where Honkai: Star Rail is supported.
