Honda Canada has officially launched its 2026 Pioneer 1000 side-by-side (SxS) vehicle platform. The lineup includes three trim levels: Base, Trail, and the new fully enclosed Pioneer 1000-6 Elite. All models are powered by a 999cc parallel-twin engine and feature selectable drive modes, cruise control, and Honda's i-4WD system.
The new Pioneer 1000-6 Elite is highlighted as Honda's first fully enclosed, six-passenger multipurpose SxS, designed for year-round use. The 2026 model year also marks the 10th anniversary of the Pioneer 1000 series in Canada, which debuted for the 2016 model year.
According to Honda, the updates focus on enhanced capability, comfort, and technology across the platform. The vehicles are built at Honda's plant in Timmonsville, South Carolina. Pricing and specific availability dates for the Canadian market have not been officially released.
