Moroccan industrial and financial group Holmarcom has finalized the sale of its biscuit manufacturing subsidiary, Biscoland, to the Spanish food company Adams Food. The transaction, announced on March 20, 2026, transfers ownership of the Moroccan biscuit brand to the Spanish group, which is part of the multinational food corporation Ebro Foods.
Biscoland, a key player in the Moroccan biscuit market, operates a production facility in the Berrechid region. The sale is part of Holmarcom's strategic refocusing on its core activities, which include insurance, distribution, and real estate. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
Adams Food, a subsidiary of Ebro Foods, is a major European manufacturer of pasta, rice, and sauces. The acquisition of Biscoland marks its entry into the Moroccan market and represents a strategic expansion of its product portfolio in North Africa. Industry analysts suggest the move will strengthen Adams Food's regional presence.
