Hilton has announced a major expansion plan for Morocco, targeting the opening of 15 new hotels across the country by 2030. This development will significantly increase its presence, bringing its total portfolio in Morocco to more than 30 properties.
The expansion will introduce several of Hilton's brands to new Moroccan markets, including Conrad Hotels & Resorts, Curio Collection by Hilton, and Canopy by Hilton. The new projects are planned for key destinations such as Marrakech, Casablanca, Rabat, and Tangier.
This growth strategy aligns with Morocco's national tourism vision, which aims to attract 17.5 million visitors annually by 2026. Hilton's investment is seen as a vote of confidence in the country's tourism sector and its post-pandemic recovery.
The company stated that the expansion will create numerous job opportunities and contribute to the local economy. The first of these new properties are expected to open in the coming years, with specific opening dates for individual hotels to be announced later.
