Hilton has announced a major expansion plan for Morocco, aiming to double its portfolio in the country by 2030. The hospitality giant plans to open 15 new hotels, significantly increasing its presence across key destinations.
The expansion will introduce several of Hilton's brands to the Moroccan market for the first time, including Conrad Hotels & Resorts, LXR Hotels & Resorts, and Canopy by Hilton. New properties are planned for cities like Marrakech, Casablanca, and Rabat, as well as coastal areas such as Taghazout and Saidia.
This growth strategy aligns with Morocco's robust tourism recovery and its national vision to attract 17.5 million tourists by 2026. Hilton's investment underscores confidence in the region's long-term potential as a premier travel destination.
The new developments will encompass a mix of management and franchise agreements with local partners. The expansion is expected to create thousands of jobs and contribute to the local economy through hospitality and tourism.
