French luxury house Hermès has launched a new limited-edition collection named "Terracotta Golden Dunes," which blends Parisian craftsmanship with the traditional Moroccan art of zellige tilework. The collection, unveiled in early April 2026, includes home decor items, tableware, and select accessories.

The pieces are characterized by their terracotta bases adorned with intricate geometric patterns in gold leaf, a direct homage to the centuries-old zellige tradition. This art form involves chiseling and setting hand-cut glazed tiles into complex mosaics, often seen in Moroccan architecture.

According to the brand's announcement, the collection was developed by the Hermès Maison métier and represents a dialogue between materials and heritage. The items are produced in limited quantities and are available exclusively through Hermès stores and its official website for a limited time.

The launch continues Hermès's strategy of creating exclusive, artisanal collections that reference global craftsmanship, following previous editions inspired by other cultural motifs. Industry analysts note such limited releases help maintain brand exclusivity and appeal to collectors of luxury home objects.
