An Oklahoma family was sent into a panic when its Golden Retriever walked through the door with a live armadillo hanging from its mouth. The incident, which occurred in early June 2026, was captured on video and quickly went viral on social media.
The dog, named Cooper, reportedly found the armadillo in the backyard and brought it inside as a 'gift.' The family managed to safely remove the armadillo and release it back into the wild without injury to the animal or the dog.
