The GITEX Africa 2026 technology exhibition and conference opened today, April 7, in Marrakech, Morocco. The event, a major African tech summit, is scheduled to run until April 9, 2026, at the city's exhibition grounds.
Organized in partnership with the Digital Development Agency (ADD) under Morocco's Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, the summit focuses on digital transformation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and fintech. It brings together startups, investors, and global tech companies.
This edition is expected to feature over 1,500 exhibitors and attract tens of thousands of visitors from across the continent and beyond, aiming to foster innovation and investment in Africa's digital economy.
