Freddie Highmore and David Shore, the duo behind the medical drama The Good Doctor, are reuniting for a new project. The pair are attached to I'm Not Here to Hurt You, a drama series co-commissioned by Canadian streamer Crave and Sony Pictures Television (SPT).
According to a press release from Bell Media, which owns Crave, the series is produced by Blink49 Studios. The show is described as a psychological thriller that follows a woman who, after a traumatic event, begins to question her own reality.
Highmore is set to star in and executive produce the series, while Shore will write and executive produce. This marks their first collaboration since The Good Doctor concluded its seven-season run in 2024.
No release date has been announced yet. The project is currently in development.
