Moroccan food processing group Fortune Maroc has officially inaugurated the extension of its biscuit and confectionery factory in the industrial zone of Bouskoura. The expansion project represents a total investment of 220 million Moroccan dirhams (approximately $22 million USD).
The investment is focused on strengthening production capacity through the installation of new manufacturing lines for biscuits, chocolates, and other confectionery products. This move is part of the group's strategy to increase its market share and meet growing domestic and export demand.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by company officials and local authorities. The expansion is expected to create new jobs and contribute to the local economy in the Casablanca-Settat region.
Fortune Maroc, a subsidiary of the French group Limagrain, is a major player in the North African agri-food sector, specializing in cereals, flour, and finished products like biscuits and pasta.
