A new Fiat sedan, believed to be the global version of the Fiat Cronos, has been spotted completely uncamouflaged in Morocco. The vehicle, which was previously seen in spy shots with heavy vinyl wrapping, was photographed in Casablanca, revealing its final production design.
The car, which is already on sale in Brazil as the Fiat Cronos, features a redesigned front grille and updated lighting elements. It is expected to be launched in the Moroccan market later this year, as part of Fiat's expansion in North Africa.
According to local automotive media, the sedan will be produced at the Stellantis plant in Kenitra, Morocco, which also manufactures the Peugeot 208 and other models. The plant has a capacity of 200,000 vehicles per year.
No official specifications have been released, but the Brazilian version offers 1.0L and 1.3L engines. The Moroccan version is expected to have similar powertrains, possibly with a diesel option for the local market.
