Second-year students of Government College in Alirajpur, Madhya Pradesh, faced significant disruption when their examination centre was abruptly shifted from Alirajpur to Bagh, in the neighboring Dhar district, just one day before their scheduled tests. The exams, conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE), were for the Class 12 (Higher Secondary) final examinations.
According to local reports, the last-minute change was implemented due to administrative and security concerns at the original venue. Students and parents expressed frustration over the sudden relocation, citing increased travel time, logistical challenges, and added stress on the eve of crucial board exams.
The Madhya Pradesh Board has not issued an official statement detailing the specific reasons for the shift. The incident has raised questions about examination planning and communication between education authorities and students in remote districts.
