Ouaddou, who had a successful coaching stint in South Africa, expressed frustration with the lack of diversity among professional coaches in France. He believes his Moroccan background and skin color played a role in his difficulties securing coaching positions in France.
The French Football Federation (FFF) has not yet responded to these allegations. Ouaddou's comments highlight ongoing concerns about diversity and inclusion in French football, both on and off the pitch.
His successful experience in South Africa, where he coached at a high level, contrasts with the barriers he says he faced in France. This has led him to call for more opportunities for coaches from diverse backgrounds.
