Jennifer Eckhart, a former Fox News producer who sued network anchor Ed Henry over alleged sexual assault, was found dead at her home in Martin County, Florida, over the weekend, the Martin County Sheriff's Office said. She was 36.
The sheriff's office confirmed that her death was ruled a suicide. No further details were immediately released.
Eckhart filed a lawsuit in 2020 against Henry, alleging that he sexually assaulted her and that Fox News retaliated against her after she reported the allegations. Henry has denied the claims. Fox News fired Henry in 2020 after an internal investigation into sexual misconduct allegations.
