Buba Sanneh, the 31-year-old Gambian footballer once valued at €8 million during his time at RSC Anderlecht, has been found living in Ghent, Belgium, without a club for the past two and a half years. According to reports, Sanneh now relies on a bicycle and a Ford Focus for transportation, stating, 'My bike and our Ford Focus are enough for me.'
Sanneh joined Anderlecht in 2018 from FC Midtjylland for a reported fee of €8 million, making him one of the club's most expensive signings at the time. However, his career declined after a series of injuries and loan spells, including stints at FC Emmen and K Beerschot VA. He has been without a professional club since 2023.
Despite his financial struggles, Sanneh expressed contentment with his current life, emphasizing material simplicity. He has not officially retired but remains a free agent. No recent offers from clubs have been reported as of May 2026.
