Executive Vice-President of the European Commission for a Europe Fit for the Digital Age, Margrethe Vestager, will participate in GITEX Africa 2026 in Marrakech, Morocco. The event, a major tech exhibition for the continent, runs from April 8-10, 2026.
Vestager's agenda includes meetings with Moroccan officials, including Minister Delegate for Digital Transition and Administration Reform, Ghita Mezzour. Discussions will focus on strengthening EU-Morocco digital partnership, digital sovereignty, and cybersecurity.
