The "Invest in Ethiopia 2026" International Investment Forum concluded on March 27, 2026, in Addis Ababa with the signing of investment agreements totaling $13.1 billion, according to the state-run Ethiopian News Agency (ENA). The forum, which ran from March 26-27, was attended by government officials, international investors, and development partners.

The signed agreements span several strategic sectors, including manufacturing, agriculture, ICT, tourism, and energy. The Ethiopian Investment Commission stated that the deals are expected to create over 200,000 jobs. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed highlighted the forum as a key platform to showcase the country's economic reforms and investment potential.

The event is part of Ethiopia's broader strategy to attract foreign direct investment (FDI) to support its economic development plans. Officials emphasized ongoing reforms to improve the business climate, including efforts to streamline regulations and enhance infrastructure.
