The "Invest in Ethiopia 2026" International Investment Forum concluded on March 27, 2026, in Addis Ababa with the signing of investment agreements totaling $13.1 billion, according to the state-run Ethiopian News Agency (ENA). The signed agreements span several strategic sectors, including manufacturing, agriculture, ICT, tourism, and energy. The Ethiopian Investment Commission stated that the deals are expected to create over 200,000 jobs. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed highlighted the forum as a key platform to showcase the country's economic reforms and investment potential.
