The deployment covers several of the bank's locations, including sites in Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI), and the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM). This initiative addresses the critical need for reliable, high-speed internet in remote and island locations, which are often vulnerable to disruptions from traditional undersea cables.
Starlink's low-Earth orbit satellite network provides a solution for financial institutions requiring stable and secure communications for transactions and customer services.
