EasyJet has inaugurated a new direct flight connecting Strasbourg, France, to Marrakech, Morocco, as part of its continued expansion in the Moroccan market. The route, which began operations in early May 2026, is operated twice weekly using an Airbus A320 aircraft.
With this addition, EasyJet now serves 19 routes to Morocco from various European cities, including Paris, Lyon, and Geneva. The airline has been steadily increasing its presence in North Africa, citing strong demand for leisure and business travel.
The Strasbourg-Marrakech service is expected to boost tourism and economic ties between the Alsace region and Morocco. EasyJet's expansion aligns with Morocco's goal to attract more European visitors, with Marrakech being a top destination for its cultural heritage and tourism infrastructure.
