The Dubai International Chamber has officially opened its first representative office in the Philippines, located in Manila. The inauguration ceremony was held on April 14, 2026, and was attended by senior officials from both the UAE and the Philippines.
The new office is part of the chamber's global expansion strategy, which aims to establish 50 representative offices worldwide. Its primary goal is to facilitate trade and investment flows between Dubai and the Philippines, supporting businesses from both regions.
According to the chamber, the Philippines was selected due to its strong economic growth and strategic position in Southeast Asia. The office will assist Filipino companies in accessing Dubai's market and connect Emirati investors with opportunities in sectors like technology, logistics, and renewable energy in the Philippines.
The opening follows a series of high-level economic dialogues between the two countries and is expected to build on existing bilateral trade, which exceeded $1.8 billion in 2025.
