Jakarta. There are no plans for Indonesia's nascent export agency to go public in the near future, according to sovereign wealth fund Danantara, as the trade system shake-up is just around the corner.
President Prabowo Subianto not long ago unveiled the agency, which is part of a broader effort to streamline and boost Indonesia's export capabilities. However, Danantara clarified that an initial public offering (IPO) is not on the immediate agenda.
The statement comes amid ongoing discussions about the country's trade policies and the role of state-backed entities in supporting economic growth. Danantara emphasized that the focus remains on operational readiness and strategic alignment with national trade goals.
