Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan inaugurated the Mohammed VI Tower in Rabat on Monday, April 14, 2026, on the orders of King Mohammed VI. The ceremony marks the official opening of the capital's new landmark skyscraper.
The tower, developed by the Moroccan company Addoha Group, is the tallest building in Morocco and one of the tallest in Africa. It stands at approximately 250 meters (820 feet) and comprises 55 floors.
The structure is designed to house a luxury hotel, premium office space, residential apartments, and commercial areas. Its inauguration is seen as a significant milestone in the urban development of the Rabat-Salé region.
The event was attended by senior government officials and business leaders. The project is part of broader national infrastructure and economic development initiatives.
