Clicks Technology has announced that it has shipped 75% of pre-orders for its $99 Power Keyboard, a MagSafe-compatible slide-out keyboard that brings BlackBerry-style typing to various smartphones. The device attaches magnetically to the back of compatible phones and slides out for use.
The Power Keyboard works in both portrait and landscape modes, and includes a 2,150 mAh battery that provides additional power to the phone. It is designed for users who miss the tactile feedback of physical keyboards.
The product has generated significant interest, with pre-orders selling out quickly. Clicks Technology has not yet announced a general availability date, but the company is working to fulfill remaining orders.
