Chinese electronic components manufacturer Suzhou Recodeal Interconnect System Co., Ltd. has announced plans to establish a production facility in Morocco. The company will invest approximately $50 million to build a factory in the Tanger Tech City industrial zone, focusing on the manufacturing of high-speed data transmission connectors.

The investment agreement was signed with Moroccan authorities in early April 2026. The new plant is expected to create around 500 jobs and will serve to strengthen Recodeal's supply chain for European and African markets. The company specializes in optical, electrical, microwave, and high-speed data transmission connectors.

This move is part of a broader trend of Chinese industrial investment in Morocco, particularly in the automotive and electronics sectors, leveraging the country's trade agreements and strategic location. The Moroccan government has been actively promoting Tanger Tech City as a hub for advanced manufacturing.
