Chilliwack RCMP impounded a vehicle they described as 'creatively assembled' and arrested a passenger during a traffic stop on June 9, 2026. The incident occurred in the 45000 block of Luckakuck Way.
Officers stopped the vehicle for a traffic violation and discovered it had been modified in a manner that raised safety concerns. The vehicle was deemed unfit for the road and was impounded for 30 days.
The passenger was arrested on an outstanding warrant unrelated to the traffic stop. The driver was issued a violation ticket for driving without a valid licence and for operating an unsafe vehicle.
RCMP remind the public that vehicle modifications must comply with safety standards to ensure road safety.
