French software publisher Cegid officially opened a Cloud & AI Center of Excellence at Casablanca Finance City on May 19, 2026, according to a company press release and local media reports.
The center aims to accelerate digital transformation for businesses in Africa and the Middle East, focusing on cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) and artificial intelligence solutions. Cegid has operated in Morocco for over 20 years.
The facility will employ local talent and collaborate with Moroccan engineering schools to develop AI-driven tools for finance, human resources, and retail sectors. Cegid CEO Pascal Houillon stated the investment reinforces the company's commitment to the region.
