The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) confirmed that an explosive device detonated outside the station, causing damage but no injuries. Officers cordoned off the scene and launched an investigation, with forensic teams examining the wreckage.
Local residents described hearing a loud bang and seeing smoke rising from the area. The PSNI appealed for anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward. No group has claimed responsibility, but dissident republican groups have been active in the region in recent years.
